Ingredients:
* 1 cup 1% milk
* 1 banana
* 2 Tbs honey
* 3/4 cup granola
* 1/2 cup ice
1 serving, but it is a delicious serving. Feel free to use more or less fat in your milk as you prefer.

Is eating a protein bar for breakfast and lunch and a low cal dinner healthy?

I am doing this new diet with a product from quixtar. I am eating one of there Trim Advantage protein bars for breakfast, and one for lunch.(the bars are 250 calories each) For supper i eat a small high fiber meal. I drink tons of water, i small diet pop a day, if that and no snacking in between. I recentely got the dvd HIP HOP ABS and it is amazing. It is fun easy and just like dancing. If you can shake what your momma gave ya, you can do this exercise program. So basically what i was wondering was if this diet is goin to work. I have stuck with it and havent cheated yet, so for me that is a good sign.-thanks hal-pal

No that doesn't sound healthy. For one thing, the vitamins and minerals in those bars are mostly artificial and can't replace the benefits you get from eating whole natural foods, especially fruits, vegetables and whole grains as well as protein. Besides you aren't learning healthy eating habits this way. Your body is going into starvation mode, and when you stop eating the bars and go back to your old eating habits, you will gain more weight than ever.

also i wanted to try the 2000 cal day bcuz im jus startin n was start slow . i neva did a diet b4 so if u think u hav meals n snacks that can lower than 2000 a day send it becuz im in pretty gud shape jus wanna eat a lil.better ...thanks n advance for all ur help n ideas

1 cup oats mixed with 1/2 cup blueberries (honey not white sugar to sweeten the oatmeal)

12 oz skim milk
Snack-
4 oz walnuts
Lunch-
Tuna sandwich made with light mayo on Ezeikel bread
apple
12 oz soy milk
Snack-
1 cup cottage cheese mixed with 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
Dinner-
10 oz grilled talapia over 1 cup quinoa
1/2 cup black beans
small salad
